In God's Eyes

Growing up

I grew up a good Catholic and I participated and played at some of the first guitar masses that were offered at our church, the Air Force Academy Chapel, while I was still in High School.

Personal Savior

When I went to College at CSU in Fort Collins, I had a friend, Jon (not sure what his last name was but I'd love the opportunity to thank him someday), who asked me if I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. It took some time and after some serious soul searching, but in 1973 I gave my life to Jesus.

Writing music for the Lord

In the late 1980's, I had very experimental operation to fuse my lower back with rods holding me together. Every morning while I was using the walking pool at the Health South physical therapy location, I used that time for prayer. One of the petitions that I made to God was to use my gifts of music and poetry for God's glory. By the time I exited the tub that day, I had written my first song for the Lord, "Take A Little Bath With Jesus".
